Maintained the premises of the church in proper and fit condition, and continued with detailed consultations within the church on project of improvements and renovations. This is carefully covered by more than adequate savings, and with a financial plan managed throughout the year. The church remains a small financial operation and its healthy reserves shield it from potential declines in income. The Church aims to maintain a reserve of 12 months, total expenditure judged by an average annual IIE statement. Reserves are to enable the Church to operate from a position of resilience where over 80 % of the expenditure is committed to pastoral stipend and missionary giving, and to allow for fluctuations in gifts and offerings, as well as contingencies connected to buildin mana ement and maintenance. The church holds approx. £183,000 in reserves, because there is a planned building project to deliver without taking loans.
