Para 1.20 | Summary of actvites From September 22 till July 23 we provided riding sessions on Saturdays and Thursdays during term time. Venture RDA provided 525 riding sessions for 74 children Venture RDA ensures all children make progress physically whilst involved with the project. The specifc outline of a child's development cannot be stated, due to every child being individual. However, this physical development could range from fne motor skills, to core strength, to gross motor skills. The RDA ethos means that all children build positive relationships at a pace or level suitable to them. Children can interact with ponies, side helpers and coaches. The children are able to experience respectful and kind relationships. Also, the families involved build a network of support and friendship. At every visit every child will achieve, no matter the size of the achievement. Achievement grows confdence, confdence grows enjoyment, enjoyment grows positivity. Positivity is the heart of Venture RDA, someone believing in you gives you inner strength, the children who come to RDA are encouraged and genuinely cared about. At Venture RDA we have seen children develop skills within their communication and language, their interactions and confdence. Children who may have avoided conversation now greet volunteers with a hug, say hello, smile when they see a pony. We have seen children develop their independence. Each child has their own photo space, boots and hat each week and children are now start their session with success. Being able to identify their own belongings, or put on their own hat, or complete their activities within the lessons themselves. Every volunteer understands our children as individuals and celebrates their successes in line with this. These scafolded opportunities to build upon each week are routines created to develop success and allow children to feel their achievements.
