## **TRUSTEE REPORT 2021/2022**

We are pleased to present the trustee report for OGHCSRC, highlighting the progress we have made in the past year. Despite the challenges of the global rise in the cost of living, we have made significant improvements to our facilities and have continued to engage with our local communities.

During the accounts period under review, the primary focus of the Charity was to operate and maintain the Sports pitch, Soft Play area, Café facility, and sports & recreational activities throughout the year, including holidays, evenings and weekends.

We are committed to providing the residents of Oldham and the surrounding areas with highquality facilities for leisure, recreation, and sport. Our aim is to maintain a safe, pleasant and fit-for-purpose space that meets the needs of our community.

Facility Improvements:

We have made significant progress in improving our facilities. We have installed a brand new 4G pitch, which has been a great addition to our sports facilities. The pitch has been well received by our visitors and we continue to take bookings.

The modernisation of our facilities has been a significant investment, but we believe it was necessary to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our visitors. We appreciate the support from the external funders

## Challenges:

As mentioned earlier, we are facing challenges due to the global rise in the cost of living. However, we have a good workforce who work collaboratively to overcome these challenges.
