The Hub is a charity set in the heart of Clay Cross Derbyshire.Founded in 2017 to connect and engage the community in a safe, friendly, happy, positive and welcoming space.Funded solely by donations, volunteers and business initiatives.We provide an atmosphere that allows people to use our amenities in many different ways.We host a variety of Clubs and Groups including Local History Group
Objects: The Charity’s Objects Are, For The Public Benefit:1. To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Clay Cross, Derbyshire And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.2. To Advance The Education Of The General Public In The Mining And Engineering Industry Of North East Derbyshire, In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of A Local Heritage Centre;3. To Advance The Arts By The Public Exhibition Of Art.’
