Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Crescent Kids is progressing towards a launch of services in 2020 and beyond. To date activities have involved refining the branding, marketing and go to market services (based on market research) for the families of children with sickle cell and Thalasseamia. 2020/21

1. Covid - 19 Care Packs, Crescent Kids crowd funded for care
packs which we delivered to parents and kids during the 1st
lockdown. The packsThe care packages include:

3. Corporate support - We secured corporate support from 2
technology companies Citrix & VMWare
4. Winter Wellness Boxes - In December we delivered
winter wellness boxes for parents and kids with sickle cell. The
boxes included : wearable water bottles , essential oils, natural
antibiotics like elderberry syrup, vitamin c / d , affirmation cards.
5. Crescent Kids was selected as Charity of the Year by St
Martins School in Mill Hill
6. Kids Wellness Bootcamp - 14 week course for kids with
rewards. The theme of the course is Nutrition, Supplements,
Diet. We will be providing meal planners, reward charts and
stickers plus much more. The bootcamp begins in March.
7. Crescent Kids App - We have started fundraising to create an
application.to provide the ability to log medications administered, water
and hydration ( with gamification to encourage reaching the daily water
targets) Diet and nutrition, supplements.
This data is crucial. Especially now living in a pandemic and isolated
away from our medical teams. Once we hit target we can begin with the
aim of launching in April / May 2021 with our pilot group
