**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND PRESERVATION OF HEALTH FOR CHILDREN UP TO 18 SUFFERING FROM SICKLE CELL DISEASE OR THALASSEMIA AND THE RELIEF OF THEIR PARENTS OR CARERS BY:A) PROVIDING SUPPORT, ADVICE EDUCATION AND INFORMATION ABOUT SICKLE CELL DISEASE AND THALASSEMIAB) PROVIDING INFORMATION AND RAISING AWARENESS TO GRADUALLY DECREASE THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN BORN WITH SICKLE CELL& THALASSEMIAC) PROVIDING GRANTS AND FUNDS TOWARDS STUDIES TO ADVANCE HEALTH AND TO FIND A CURE FOR SICKLE CELL AND THALASSEMIA SUFFERERS.

**Activities:** Crescent Kids provides advice and guidance for children and families suffering with sickle cell. Our activities include: - Yearly patient / parent focus groups - Fundraising initiatives- Collaboration with children charities responsible for well being of pediatrics in hospital admission - Research into new and innovative therapies for the treatment of sickle cell
