In planning our activities for the period we considered the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at these meetings

The focus of the trustees was to decide how the trust would be funded and to consider requests for help against the stated objects of the trust.

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

The premises of the Trust are Davison House, Rennys Lane, Co. Durham, DH1 2RS. These premises are provided at no cost to the trust by the MGL Group Limited.

Employees of the MGL Group Limited were asked to consider providing a monthly donation to the trust. All donations given are matched by the MGL Group Limited.

The MGL Group has also committed to, in years of profit, making a further contribution to the Trust. This is at each year end and the contribution will be in addition to the donations referred to above.

Employees may also organise fundraising outside of this which the MGL Group has committed to match.

The trustees met at regular intervals during the period to review the financial position of the trust and to consider any requests for assistance.

During the period, the trust made various donations/awards to requests that were in line with the stated objects of the trust.

We hold cash at bank of £59.198.94 at the year end, all of which is Brief statement of the unrestricted funds. This is all available for distribution in the future in charity’s policy on reserves accordance with the Constitution.
