Aldeburgh Beach Boat Trust 2024 to 2025. 1173337 Annual Report
The Trust has not spent any money or been given any cash.
Chairman Robert Simper Trustee Jonathan Simper Volunteer Paul Strowger.
This year is much the same as other years. The public have enjoyed looking at boat Four Daughters on Aldeburgh beach on the Suffolk coast, but have not given any money or offered to help which is sad as we have been trying to save an important part of Aldeburgh's long history as a fishing centre.
Paul Strowger painted the bottom of the boat in the winter while the cover was over the open boat. The winter cover is removed a week before Easter and then any paint work poor is repainted. The fisherman just up the beach stores the cover in the summer in his shed.
The Trust has saved an historic boat, as failed to catch the public imagination.
