This number is down slightly on the previous year, probably due to more people returning to working away from home. All rescue dogs taken under the wing of the charity have a home to go to before they travel from their country of origin, and all are properly prepared for travel following health checks and vaccinations and all travel documentation is checked for compliance with border regulations. Our financial support for our European partners was increased early in 2023 to help meet the ever-increasing costs of kennelling and health care.
