## **Trustees Annual Report**

Aim Hi’s purpose is to advance the education of the children at Hazelmere Infant School and Nursery, in particular but not exclusively by supplying goods and services for their benefit not required to be supplied by the local education authority.
Aim Hi generates income through:
- Fundraising activities
- Seeking appropriate donations
All meetings included discussion to confirm the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and were consistent with the objectives of Aim Hi.
## **COVID-19 and the implications of restrictions and lockdowns have greatly limited our activities yet again this year.**
## **Achievements and Performance**
## **Fund Raising**
We were not able to hold any fund raising events this year
## **Other Funds**
Due to the school’s family support worker leaving, it was not possible to continue with the Essex Community Foundation’s project and as such we had to return the grant received.
Amazon Smile donations linked to supporters shopping continue to provide a small, but welcome income.
We also received two small donations.
## **Projects Funded**
We funded a mobile zoo visit to the school and also a day for a mobile Planetarium.

## **The Year Ahead**
We are committed to relaunching the efforts of Aim Hi and reintroduce more major fund-raising efforts and putting on events for our community.
Covid has reduced the number of people who are looking to volunteer.
## **Structure, Governance and Management**
Aim Hi has the constitution of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation
Regular trustee meetings are held. Efforts are made to recruit trustees from the local school community although this year this was not possible. No vote is required for this purpose.
We rely on a dedicated group of volunteers to provide support at large events.
