Our monthly<br>Litter Picking events have encouraged a large<br>number of people to get involved both at the<br>event and individually, using our equipment, at<br>times more suitable to themselves resulting in<br>the villages being noticeably cleaner, with<br>residents aware of the part they can play.<br>Open spaces have improved greatly through<br>our volunteers maintaining the flower beds<br>both in the park and along the road sides,<br>throughout the year. Many residents,<br>especially the elderly, comment on how lovely<br>it looks. Local school children have been<br>involved in bulb planting sessions, to<br>encourage them, from an early age, to value<br>their local environment and the benefits of<br>nature. We have seen an increase in the<br>number of volunteers through all these areas.|
