**also supported over 200 families across**
**7 primary schools with additional**

**invaluable at a time when families in**
**poverty are under extra pressure due to**
**the lack of free school meals.**
**Furthermore the foodbank has operated**
**a community kitchen in partnership with**
**a local church that has helped families**
**in the local area not only with a free**
**three course meal every fortnight but**
**with a chance to come together and**
**coalesce around issues that affect them,**
**this has been particularly important for**
**the many asylum seeker families who**
**have been placed in the area over the**
