|Summary<br>ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year|||Because ofCovid and therefore<br>smaller than normal usage there has not<br>been a lot of updating<br>ofthe interior. The main<br>hall floor though<br>is being<br>resealed<br>this coming October half term.|
||||As mentioned<br>earlier a lot oftime and effort has been spent on the plans<br>for the proposed centre extension. We now have the lease for the parcel<br>ofland for the extension<br>and the Trustees have formed a partnership<br>with<br>Blair Gratton Architect's as our partner,<br>initially to develop afeasibility<br>study as to what sort of building<br>could ht within this land to the west ofour|
||||current<br>building.<br>Planning<br>permission<br>from the Derby City Council<br>Planning<br>department<br>has recently been granted.|
||||Another project embarked<br>upon is that we have obtained the lease from|
||||the Council ofa disused and overgrown<br>public convenience.<br>We plan to<br>transform<br>the 70sq. mt. area into a Community<br>garden<br>with flower beds,|
||||planters,<br>seating, community<br>information<br>board and access for|
||||wheelchair<br>users. We have some S106monies earmarked<br>towards this|
||||and aVeolia Environmental<br>Trust grant is also being targeted<br>by us. This<br>project is also approved<br>by "ENTRUST".|
