Section B Structure, governance and management Description of the charity’s trusts Established by constitution dated 24/5/2017 Type of governing document (eg. trust deed, constitution) Charitable Incorporated Organisation (COI) How the charity is constituted (eg. trust, association, company) Appointed in accordance with constitution Trustee selection methods (eg. appointed by, elected by)

Description of the charity’s trusts

Additional governance issues (Optional information)

Youmay chooseto include
additional information, where
relevant, about:

policies and procedures
adopted for the induction and
training of trustees;

the charity’s organisational
structure and any wider
network with which the charity
works;

relationship with any related
parties;

trustees’ consideration of
major risks and the system
and procedures to manage
them.
The Trust gives the trustees the power to apply the funds in such a
manner as they think fit for the benefit of the charitable objects.
The trustees identify projects and organisations they wish to support and
only make grants to other registered charities. The focus of the grant
making is the development and support of the young and the conservation
of both the natural and built environment. While the Trustees make grants
to UK based charities, it may apply the grants to support work done by
those charities overseas.
Grants are made based on applications that have been made to the Trust
and also charities nominated by Trustees as a result of research
undertaken on specific organisations.
The trustees will consider both one off grants often to support capital or
project needs. They will also consider grants made with a commitment to
repeat over a number of years, typically in three-year cycles.
Section C

Summary of the objects of the
charity set out in its
governing document

the natural and built environment and the development and support of

The charity’s grant making strategy over the year has been in line with the aims and objectives of the Foundation. A total of £258,100 has been disbursed to twenty four different charities. The grants were a mixture of donations towards the general purposes of the Charity concerned, and grants in support of specific charitable projects.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

It is the trustees’ belief that in the conduct of the affairs of the Foundation, they have had due regard to the public benefit guidance of the Charity Commission, complying with both the “public “aspect (within the parameters set by the objectives of the Foundation) and with regard to the “benefit” aspect.

Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)
