The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in note 1 to the financial statements and comply vwth the charity's governing document, the Companies Act 2006 and "Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to Gharilies preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102)" (published in October 2019). Objectives and activities The charity's objectlves are to relieve emotional and psychological suffering of children, young people and adults who are experiencing the loss of their parent(sl or family member(s). Seasons for Growth is a grief education programme that help5 participants understand the feelings associated with loss. The facilitator supports a small peer group to explore and manage feelings, develop coping skills and gain knowledge about what is happening to them physiGally, socially and emotionally. Seasons for Growth is a validated programme that originated in Australia and is now used in several countries. Participants use a journ81 provided by the fac51itator known as a 'companion'. The 'companion' has been trained to use a manual to deliver a one hour session over an eight-week period. The Seasons for Growth programme is written at four levels for childrenlyoung people, and there is an additional programme written at adult level. This enables the 'companion' to choose the level most appropriate to the group. This enables access to the programme at all levels and abilities from the age of 5 yeais when the young person has cognitive ability to gain knowledge and skills, right through to adulthood. The benef5ts extend to anyone who is grieving regardless of their loss. Written as part of the Australian Youth Suicide Prevention Programme in the mid 1990's, the programme has been regularly updated and evaluated. Central to the programme is that there is no wmparison of loss so that participants are able to use the knowledge and skills they gain on the course at an age and ability appropriate level. Used in community settings such as schools and libraries, the small peer group can take place at any setting whère people of similar age and ability come together. The advancement of education: For the public benefit. Seasons for Growth provides an opportunity to develop the individual capabilities, competence, skills and understanding of children, young people and adults who need relief from their experience of loss. Children and young people are supported to understand their loss and what is happening to them. Following a loss, children and young people are often distracted by thoughts of what is happening at home. Seasons for Growth Grief Education programme helps process their thoughts through improved knowledge, skills and coping strategies to enable better access to educRtion. The advancement of health: For the public benefit, Seasons for Growth promotes emotional health and well being and self-esteem following significant loss. Partiupant evaluations are collated to assist in demonstrating it reaches the purpose of the health promoting activities to show a proven beneficFal effect on emotional health including self-esteem of those who have experienced a loss. Significant loss situations can include death, separation, divorce. family imprisonmenl, loss of employment, friendships and many more. The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the charity should undertake.

REPORT (INCLUDING DIRECTORS, REPORT) (CONTINUED) FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 30 JUNE 2025 Achievements and performance Seasons for Growth Grief Education Ltd {Seasons) continues to develop across England and Wales delivering training for supporting children, young people, and adults. Since the development of the parent support programme has been written and delivered to parents of bereaved children to help them support their child, and a different parent support programme delivered to parents of children who are experiencing divorce. All children and young people journals are now provided with Version 3 materials, and we are in the process of having journals level 1-3 translated and printed in Welsh. Trustees and Trainers have attended and exhibited at further Open Forum Events to reach new contacts to advise Ihem of the programme benefi'ts including speaking at., Children and Young People's Mental Health: Targeted, Tailored. and Timely Support, Supporting People with a Learning Disability and Autistic People, Delivering Improvement. It was evident from these events that there is an ovenNhelming need for a tier 2 intervention like our programme. This also prompted a price review with the trustees. The website is updated to show new training dates and there is a section for Trained Companions as well as a separale section for Trainers Only. Following Covid-19 restrictions we have maintained some online trainings allowing us to rneet more applicant needs btjt restarted some face-to-face Companion Trainings. Mosl Companion trainings have been online as travel has proved difficult for those being released from work to attend trainings has been a challenge. The expansion of Seasons into new areas as well as the reignition of others has included Deborah Francis who later opened SFG Barbados and Lynn Murphy who is developing SFG on the Isle of Man both of which Seasons for Growth England and Wales continues to support. The Charity receives guidan and support from the Australian author of the programme and the Mary Mc Killop foundation. Quarterly meetings online include Charities trom New Zealand and Scotland. Through discussion with Trainers, the support through mentorship has been successful, particularly in North Wales. The aim has been to increase the capacity of the trainers to offer more mentorship post training to assist trained companions to start their implementation of programme delivery. During this financial year, conversations continued with Papyrus Prevention who are willing to run the Seasons for Growth Programme under licence from MacKillop Sea50ns Australia. Seasons for Growth Grief Education Limited have therefore transferred the cuirent stock to Papyrus Prevention and organise for trainings to continue under their name. All trainers and active companions delivering the programme have been infomed of the transfer. Links previously established through an experienced companion in England who moved to Barbados who wishes to reach out to and support children in Barbados. The companion has delivered the programme in England for more than 10 years and has seen the benefits to children over these years. is now supported by Australia. 5 Children and Young People's Trainings in England and 1 Children and Young People's Programmes delivered in Wales. North Wales continues to be able to offer Seasons for Growih more widely than other areas as below. The children's journals are now available at Primary Level in the Welsh language. The course was very relevant and gave me insight to understand and identify behaviour which could be down to grtef and Ios5. The application of grief and loss ideas to young people we deal with was something I hadn't thought of before. The course facililator was good at explaining, she was compassionate and empathetic in her approach. I would recommend the course to other5 who are slruggling with10sS. Financial review Total income during the year of £34,496 {2024: £29,635) was received, all of which was unrestricted in nature. Resources expended totalled £87,410 {2024'. £40,576) during the year, giving the charity a deficit for the period of £52,914 (2024.. £10,941) and leaving reserves carried forward of £nil {2024'. £52,914). Plans for the future & Cessation of Activity uring this year, we have been fortunate to wntr'nue to connect with Ged Flynn, CEO of Papyrus. We have now transferred Seasons for Growth Grief Education Ltd to Papyrus Prevention as the Papyrus charity objectives align to those of the Seasons for Growth programme. Elaine met with Ged and the Australian Mackillop Seasons Team and having recognised the broader context Df Seasons for Growih Grief Education as a youth suicide prevention programme, we can see the value of this collaboration. Ged attended a recent Seasons for Growth Companion Training in the UK and laterwas observed by Fiona Mccallum. CEO Mackillop Seasons, visiting from Australia, delivering a Companion Training. Ged is prepared to invest in leading the UK programmes. The Seasons for Growth Grief Education Ltd Charity ceased activity on 30th June 2025 and operations have been undertaken by Papyrus Prevention. During the period from 1 si July 2025 until present, the Seasons for Growth Grief Education Ltd Charity has prepared final accounts and contacted debtors and clients to inform them of the closure and to contact Papyrus, should they wish to continue delivering the Seasons for Growth programme.

The liability of the members is limited, and upon the winding up of the company, each membe¢s contribution will be limited to £10. The charity is controlled jointly by the Trustees. There is no ultimate controlling paty. 12 Related party transactions In 2019 the Charity commenced the employment and started making payments to the daughter of Trustee Mrs E Tabony. These payments totalled £20,040 {2024= £11,715) in the year, before Statutory Maternity Leave claims from HMRC. This employment was approved by the Trustees, and permission was sought and obtained from the Ch2rity Commission ac¢ordingly, with the employment made following an open and fair application process. The level of remuneration is consistent with the duties required by the role, and is equivalent to the amount that would be paid to an unrelated party for the same responsibilities. The employment is overseen on an ongoing basis by the non-conflicted Trustees, who hold regular staff appraisals and approve any payroll payments accordingly. 13-
