this is relevant and continued to provide events of similar nature to the prevlous period to ensure the services

Achlevements:
With support from the hospital diabetes team we have asked families wilh a child with Type l Diabetes to
become members of our group to meet with other families experiencing the same challenges of managing the
condition. Membershlp is open to the families unlil their child is twenty five as many young adults require
support from their families lo manage their condition. Over fity families are currenily members. We are
regularly gaining new, newly diagnosed families but continue to connect with families who have been
diagnosed for some time. As children age and develop, the suppon they need changes regularly with different
difficulties being encountered along the way both for the type one children and their families too. Our web- sile
is regularly updated to encourage more members to join and so that supporters of the charity can see details of
recent activitie5.
Support meetings are currenlty held monthly. We alternate he￿een holdlng the support meeting at David Lloyd
Gym and runnlng an organised activity with the families. The regular support meeting at the gym involves the
children doing organised sports activities with the DL staff whilst the parents meet to support each other.

Grants received in advance, donations and any other surplus lunds that may be available are invested in the
harities BaTclays bank account. We often receive Gifts from Paypal Giving. We received several kind
donations throughout Ihe year to which we are very grateful of.
Reserves..
The Tru5tee5 have established the level of reseNes that the Charity should have in order to continue operating
