## Activities

**Objects:** 1. To reduce harm caused by substances and other dependencies to individuals, their families and communities through harm reduction, advice and information, counselling, and support.2. To create opportunities for people affected by substance or other dependencies, or at risk of developing such dependencies later in life, to make and sustain positive changes in their lives, through developing recovery and community engagement services to assist people in this journey. 3. To promote good health within local communities through delivery of community rooted prevention delivering evidence - based interventions aimed at reducing the impact of substance use or other dependencies or areas of multiple disadvantages.4. To reduce stigma and lack of understanding by promoting education of the public and professionals about the impact of dependency on those affected by substance use and/or other dependencies, their families and the wider community.

**Activities:** Project 6 is a voluntary sector drug &amp; alcohol provider in Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven,  Sheffield and Doncaster. We provide advice &amp; support to substance users, their families and carers. We deliver open access harm reduction services, structured treatment and recovery services in the community, primary and secondary care settings. We also offer peer mentoring and volunteering opportunities.
