Student numbers
The College obtoins the majority of its Income from fees charged to Diocese5 and religious orders for the formation of

Numbers are dependent upon vocotion dlscernment ond appllcotions from Dic>ceses for their car￿ldotes to enter

progromme which is ottrattive to them.
Formation staff
The formation ond educotion of prlests is a hlghly speclolised role ond as such requires hlghly educoted acodemic5
with Pontiflcol theologicol degrees who ore oble to deliver the course lectures ond tutor support. Other speciollsms
beuond the academlc ore olso needed. notably professlonal covnsellors who ore sultoble for humon accompanlment

Speclol Collection Librory
The Special Collection Library contolns o collection of some 20,000 books from the 15th 19th Century. These
were donated to the College going back over neorly 200 yeors ond records of the donors ore nol ovolloble In
most coses. The books have been collected over the years through donations by Indivlduals ond parlshe5. but
no signlficont donotlons hove been received in the lost 10 yeors.
No voluotion hos been derived for the contents of the Speclol Collertion Lsbrory. It Is the Intentlon of the Trustees
to Identlfu experts who may be able to volue these collections. but it is our opinion ihot it Is not currently posslble
lo provlde o relioble estlmote of their volue in o cost effectlve manner. The lack of similar collections meons thot
the cost of valulng such a diverse array of books significontly outwelghs the beneflt to the chorlly of dolng so.
