Trusstees annual report 2020/2021
During this difficult covid period we managed to sustain the charity with our livery business.
We were able to rescue 4 ponies during the lockdown we had written permission to drive a distance from our local police station.
The trustees kept in touch throughout the pandemic on a regular basis though social media, and we all were able to have zoom meetings regularly in order to make sure we were following the safety protocol put in place and follow the law.
During periods where lockdown was lifted we were able to have very small visits on site with all precautions in place. We worked with young adults who have sadly lost friends for different reasons including serious mental heath issues and illness.
When the restrictions were lifted we were able to re-home on loan with a contract two ponies to one home , and another pony very locally to us. Our ponies only go to friends or acquaintances , we don’t openly advertise as its our policy to ensure all ponies are in a safe environment for life once they are in our care.
