We sadly saw a second year of uncertainty due to various Government imposed Lockdowns, restrictions and a cancellation of all of our usual shows and events. This year has impacted us more significantly than 2020 as there has appeared to be a decrease in the audience willing to go out and about, even with measures in place to ensure safety. Meaning that even when we were able to attend shows there was less footfall and therefore less opportunity for us to raise money.
Shows
We were able to attend one of our significant events this summer which enabled us to raise some much needed funds. It was brilliant to be back out meeting people and it was wonderful to once again see people enjoying the animals.
Trustees
Our Treasurer, Matthew Nott, was due to end his term as a Delilah’s Umbrella Trustee in May, however due to the pandemic we have been unable to recruit a replacement in the way that we had intended. As such, Matthew has kindly agreed to remain on our board of Trustees for the foreseeable future until we can recruit a suitable replacement. We have also begun looking for replacements for our other Trustees as their terms are due to expire in 2022.
