
## **ANNUAL REPORT 2021/22** 

This Annual Report covers the period 1/9/21 to 31/8/22. It was approved by the members at the Annual General Meeting held on 11 November 2022. 

## **1. INTRODUCTION** 

Our constitution sets out the objectives to advance the education of pupils by: developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with Dallington School; and engaging in activities or providing facilities/equipment to support the school and advance the education of the pupils. 

## **Administration:** 

FoD was registered as a charity on 5/4/17. The financial year runs from 1st September to 31st August. This report covers the period from 1/9/21 to 31/8/22. FoD will be run according to official charity guidelines, with annual reports and accounts submitted to and held on file by the Charity Commission. FoD benefits from the support and services offered by the Charity Commission. 

## **Personnel** 

Committee members were Leora Neidle (Chair), Daniela Seifermann (co-Treasurer), Amy Blier Carutthers (co-Treasurer) Marenka Gabeler (Co-Secretary), and Lucy Clark (Co-Secretary) 

## **2. FINANCIAL SUMMARY** 

For the year 1/9/21 to 31/8/22, total net income was £147 and total net expenditure was £415 versus £161 and £754 the previous year. Reserves were £9,141 at 31/8/21, down from £9,734 at 1/9/20. 

## **3. COMMUNITY EVENTS** 

Playground parties and discos were held, but no fundraising events 

## **4. FUNDRAISING** 

All fundraising events were cancelled due to the Covid pandemic and its aftermath. Fundraising activities cover the cost of community events. Reserves are sufficient to fund community events for the 2022/23 school year. 

## **Other Fundraising** 

FoD participates in the AmazonSmile and EasyFundraising programmes, which allow consumers to nominate a charity to which a portion of their purchase price for a good or service will be donated. FoD received a donation of £147 during the year from these programmes. AmazonSmile 



has now ceased to operate so there will be no further income stream from this going forward. 

## **5. DONATIONS** 

Where possible, FoD donates some of its fundraising proceeds each year to Dallington School. For the period 1/9/21 to 31/8/22, FoD donated £0 versus £706 during the previous school year.
