BILIE Human Rights
Initiative continues to work to defend the human rights of people from the Biafra area of Nigeria. Despite the continued injustices and extrajudicial killings perpetrated against innocent and peaceful people, we are confident that the global community will come to the aid of the Biafran people given the universal nature of human rights and the principle of universal jurisdiction. As at the time of penning down this report many Biafran people are in detention while Mr Nnamdi Kanu has been cleared by the courts, the Nigerian Government has refused to released him.
We have been funded mostly by donations of our members and would like to thank them for their time and resources. Most of our resourcing comes through in-kind donations from members and friends that may not be accounted for as volunteering and in-kind donations are not financial.
With a meagre income of five hundred and ninety six pounds (£596.00), and an expenditure of six hundred and forty two pounds(£642) we were able to do much more through collaboration, partnership, and innovation.
We will continue focus more on partnerships and collaboration to build critical mass.

We are very pleased with our work and would continue to work hard to ensure that the human rights of Biafran people are enshrined in Nigeria.
