**Objects:** THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN NANYUKI, KENYA BY:• SUPPORTING THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF THE CHILDREN OF NANYUKI, KENYA SO THAT THEY RECEIVE A SCHOOLING THAT PROVIDES A STRONG EDUCATION THUS ENABLING THEM TO CREATE A FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES THAT INVOLVES A GOOD JOB WITH PROSPECTS;• SPONSORING LOCAL CHILDREN THROUGH A ‘SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL’ SCHEME;• PROVIDING THE CHILDREN WITH SCHOOL UNIFORMS;• PROVIDING TEACHER SALARIES, TRANSPORT AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE DAY-TO-DAY RUNNING OF THE SCHOOL IN NANYUKI; AND BY• SUPPORTING THE REPAIR AND REBUILDING OF THE SCHOOL AND SUCH OTHER SUPPORT AND PROJECTS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SEE FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** Dry River Children operates in the UK.  We raise money for children and their community living in poverty, in the Samburu, Kenya.  We raise the money through fund raising activities....stalls, cake sales, car boot sales and donations.
