## The ZimProject Trustee’s Report 2023

## Introduction

2023 has been a slower year. We have continued sponsoring our current students and have not taken on any new students. This is partly due to the business of volunteers, change of leadership in the schools we sponsor at and rising cost of accommodation for university students.

## Students

Our students are all doing well. They are passing their respective exams and moving forward.

## FUELED Monthly Event

We have not yet reinstated FUELED due to health issues with the main volunteer who runs it. She suffered a stroke and is still recovering. She is also pursuing a masters course to improve her knowledge on theology and christian teaching. TO avoid her having too much pressure, we will let her complete that and when she is ready, we can start FUELED again.

## Lasting Impressions Leadership Camp

We did not carry out a camp this year due to lack of funds. This most likely will not occur till we can restart active fundraising for it.

## Zim Trip 2023

No trip was made this year as time is needed to raise a team and funds for a trip.

## Finances

This year we have continued to pay fees and stayed on top of it.

## Letters and Communication

Communication between sponsors and students via letters has reduced. We are trying to come up with a way that is easier between sponsors and students.

## Thank you

We would like to thank all of you for supporting us this year. THank you for your consistent support with sponsoring our students. You have not stopped or given up on them despite reduced communication and this means EVERYTHING to them and to us. You are changing a life for the better and permanently. For this, we can never thank you enough.
