Objectives and activities

1. To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statement of beliefs stated in the tenets of faith

2. Activities in furtherance of this will include in particular but not exclusively:-

Summary of the charity’s main activities in relation to its objects

  1. Kingdom Fellowship can look back on the financial year 2023 as a year of development and change.

  2. Firstly, the Church made the decision to firm up plans to move from the current rented building onto a new place.

  3. This has led to the decision to purchase a building so the church may own a building

  4. The Church has continued to carry out its missions objectives with unwavering commitment.

  5. The church council has remained solid in its resolve to improve efficiencies and to reduce expenditure in order to maximise on savings for church building purchase.

  6. The church has continued to support our sister church in Chelmsford and to support our mission fields abroad.

  7. Our transatlantic relationships have continued to strengthen and more partnerships are still being sort. The church was delighted to welcome the visit of Apostle Maritony to the Bolton from California who ministered with the church during her visit.

  8. The Church has faithfully and consistently delivered some interactive teaching and bible studies every Wednesday night for 50 weeks out of 52 weeks of the year

  9. Our youth work has continued to strengthen leading to a consultation on preparing to ordain the current youth leader as a pastor. This was approved by the Pastoral Care Team and ordination will be carried out in due course.

  10. The children and family work has continued to solidify with your King’s Stars now taking parallel topic with what is being taught in the main service

  11. Our marriage ministry has reached many more couples in the year and the annual conference has seen the birth of the vision to extent our marriage ministry into an international ministry.

  12. The King’s Boot Camp ministry has grown and the annual camp in August 23 was extremely successful. The program continues to reach young people from

various denominations and the leadership has agreed to expand the Boot Camps to reach an international audience.

  1. In the financial year 2022/23, Kingdom Fellowship has made a net surplus of £22 000 demonstrating the prudence and determination of the church council to raise money for the purchase of a building.

  2. The Trustees are grateful for all those who have faithfully given to and served the Church over many years. Also, the Trustees acknowledge the hard work and commitment of our administration committee (KF Admin)

Structure, governance and management

Nature of “Governing Document” and constitution of the charity

Kingdom Fellowship is registered with the Charity Commission – Registration number 1172809. The governing document is the Trust Deed dated 9[th] April 2017. The trustees meet on a formal basis as often as they deem necessary to fulfil their obligations and ensure the smooth running of Kingdom Fellowship.

The power of appointment and removal of trustees is vested in the trustees of the Church in accordance with the provisions of the trust deed. All Trustees must be members of the Church and must adhere to the "Tenets of Faith."

Financial review

The trustees are satisfied that the charity’s assets in each fund are available and adequate to fulfil the obligations in respect of each fund (ring fencing).

Reserves

It is of paramount importance to Kingdom Fellowship that it has the ability to meet its expenses, and accomplish long term expansion and growth to reach its goals.

The trustees monitor and review the appropriateness of reserves to enable the activities of the charity to continue.

Transactions and financial position

The financial statements are set out in the attached financial report. The financial

statements have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis, which is permitted for smaller charities. The trustees consider the financial performance by the charity during the year to have been satisfactory.

The Statement of Financial Activities show net incoming resources for the year of a revenue of £19,666.

The total reserves at the end of the year stand at £52000 (prior year £33000). Free unrestricted liquid reserves amounted to £52000 (prior year £33000).

The trustees are all members of the charity.

Statement of trustees’ responsibilities

The Charities Act requires the Board of Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity as at the end of the financial year and of the surplus or deficit of the charity. In preparing those financial statements the Board is required to:-

to presume that the charity will continue in business.

• state whether applicable accounting standards and statements of recommended practice have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed andexplained in the financial statements.

The Trustees are also responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and which are sufficient to show and explain the charity's transactions and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with regulations made under the Charities Act. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

The trustees are also responsible for the contents of the trustees' report, and the responsibility of the independent examiner in relation to the trustees' report is limited to

examining the report and ensuring that, on the face of the report, there are no inconsistencies with the figures disclosed in the financial statements.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the

examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
