|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|During 2020 Lumi Foundation<br>delivered classes to 7805 people.<br>25 teachers and assistants were<br>involved in delivering the classes at<br>the beginning of the year.  At year<br>end, 11 teachers were teaching<br>regular weekly classes.<br>As a response to the Covid-19<br>pandemic, Lumi Foundation<br>transitioned from providing in-<br>person classes to livestream<br>(online) classes, and when<br>permitted, provided a mixture of in-<br>person and livestream (online<br>classes). During the year, Lumi<br>Foundation provided 28 in-person<br>classes and 13 livestream classes.<br>Below is a list of our classes that we<br>provided during the year. In August 2020 Lumi Foundation recruited a project director (Chief Impact Officer) to help drive day to day operations and to position Lumi Foundation for growth. In 2020, the newly appointed Chief Impact Officer coordinated the update of the Lumi Foundation’s communications and marketing activities and materials, including our website and social media. This is to ensure that they reflect our “brand” message and provide us with the tools that we require to establish growth.
