ANNUAL REPORT 2022-2023
This year the charity has mainly worked with our seniors, although we have relived some mixed youth/ seniors sessions.
We have continued to work within our mission statement of our GAP triangle - Goals, Achievements, Participation.
We started a seniors group, offering afternoon tea and activities, including developing a small garden trough, celebrating the events through out the year. We have live music with Nikita & Roy playing for the celebration of King Charles Inauguration.
The ever growing group come from all across the area, we meet monthly at Gresley Community Centre. The members all sate they look forward to meeting up and chatting, trustees are on hand to serve , support and sign post.
Chairs Report
This year has been quite different, we recognised that the young people within the area had recovered from the pandemic and moved on in many ways. We therefore decided we would concentrate on our seniors, we had managed to secure some set up funding towards the end of our last financial year and after a few not so well attended session, we found an area and group of people who really wanted to meet up and enjoy our teas, fish and chips and fun sessions! We also gained further funding to continue the group and allow it to continue. We look forward to further growing this group and looking at new opportunities for our next year.
