The charity objective is to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing cricket and providing opportunity for creative engagement among the diverse ethnic, cultural and religious groups.
Activities:

We have maintained our pursuit in cricket development and accessibility.

Two adult teams represented in the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League

Weekly programme of coaching for children and young persons

Continued community engagement through weekly usage of facilities

Weekly Sunday fixture which brings together people of all ages, abilities & the wider community

Celebrated and highlighted the contributions of local people as part of the Windrush annual celebration. This was the first year of the inaugural competition between 4 cities (i.e. Leicester, Birmingham, Coventry and Nottingham). The purpose of the competition was to revive cricket in the Caribbean community and bring communities across the midlands together. Each city hosted the monthly event with the final being played in Birmingham. Feedback from all was very positive.

Organised and successfully held our 2[nd] commemorative event which has become an annual event in September. Local community with family members attended. Recognised individuals that have been at the forefront since the formation of the club.

Other social activities, i.e. face painting, dominoes, bouncy castle, pool, table tennis

Day trip to the seaside for a family fun day.

Programme to improve the facilities commenced. Working Party continue to drive forward the improvements required to drive the club forward.

Sir Clive Lloyd is the Patron of the Cricket Club

Successfully organised a black-tie event called An Evening with Sir Clive Lloyd. Our patron Sir Clive attended with John Holder (former ECB international umpire).
