The trustees are: Robert Yorke (chair), Oliver Fairclough (treasurer), Mrs F J Maitland-Jones, and Rupert Edwards.
The trustees hold an annual general meeting once a year, reviewing their procedures and strategy. They also meet informally at fortnightly church services. Any member of the congregation is encouraged to become a trustee.
During the year, the charity received an individual donation of £10,000 from a parishioner, other gifts totalling f £150, and interest payments of £1,644.82 on its banked funds. The Charity invested a further £50,000 in the SUTL Cazenove Charity Responsible Multi-Asset Fund (which now holds the abut two-thirds of its funds).
The church is open daily and continues to be much visited by walkers and other visitors to the Black Mountains.
The purpose of the charity is ‘the advancement of religion and heritage by preserving and safeguarding the structure of St Issui’s Church, Patricio.’ Happily, as the church still remains in good repair, there was no major calls on the charity’s funds during the year. However, £2000 was spent on removing two trees judged to be in danger of falling on to the church. A faculty is also awaited, authorising the installation of a blacksmith-made handrail.
