|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The charity continued to provide 8 sessions<br>a week in various sports including archery,<br>boxing, and fencing to the Bradford<br>community. This continued despite a move<br>to new premises during the year.<br>Additionally, sessions were delivered in<br>schools, special schools and disability<br>living centres. To combat rising venue<br>costs and in an attempt to keep the<br>sessions accessible for all, some were<br>delivered in local parks.<br>The charity also received funding from<br>StreetGames and JU:MP to run year long<br>apprenticeships for 12 young people to<br>achieve sports industry qualifications.<br>Some of these junior coaches have stayed<br>with the charity and run sessions.<br>The charity was also given funding from<br>Bradford Council as part of the HAF<br>scheme for families on free school meals.<br>As part of the scheme, the charity provided<br>36 days of sports and craft activities<br>(including trips) and 2160 meals to those<br>eligible.|
