## Treasurer’s Report for 2022 

The accounts for 2022 have undergone independent examination and were signed off on the 1[st] of February 2022. They have subsequently been uploaded onto the Charity Commission website as required by that body. 

As you can see from the Income and Account on the 15[th] of December 2022, Faith in the Community had a real bank account of £106,721.60 and a cash balance of £814.40. However, £31.346 is reserved for salary, heating and lighting support and a reserves policy. This financial year we have paid £5,000 for rent and £15,000 towards the Pantry Manager’s salary. 

## Income. 

We have received £102,067.23 income during 2022. Some of the largest donations have been Wyre Borough Council, £10,000. The Duchy of Lancaster, £5,000. Lancashire Count Council, £3,000. The Community Food Grant Scheme, £6,000. Dowager Countess Charity, £4,000. St. Vincent de Paul, £2,700. Glasdon’s Charitable Program £7,500. Albert Hunt Charity, £2,000. Other notable gifts have been received from the Freemasons of West Lancashire, The Coop and the Pantry Gift Day organised by Mr. Phill Clarke. Together with many regular donations received from members of the public. 

## Expenses. 

The Income and Expenditure Account 2022 shows the expenses broken down into categories Food, Rent, and Cleaning etc. The rent has been paid in full, our contribution towards the Pantry Manager’s salary and cleaning cost have also been met. 

Income and Expenditure Account 2022 shows that Faith in the Community had a surplus of £67,527.78 and a balance brought forward from the previous financial year of £39,193.82. 

As the Treasurer, I would like to thank all those who have generously donated monies or items of food this year. Thank you to Rebecca and Sharon for helping to raise the Charity’s public profile. Thank you to Mrs King who has audited these accounts. Finally, to Mr. Phill Clarke and all the volunteers at The Pantry for their tireless service throughout 2022.
