Annual Report for the period 6 April 2020 – 5 April 2021
Overview
During this reporting period, the Association’s activities were significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting national lockdowns. As a consequence, the charity was effectively in abeyance, and normal activities, events, and meetings were suspended.
Membership
In recognition of the disruption caused by the pandemic, the Trustees agreed not to collect membership fees for this period.
Expenditure
The only expenditure incurred during the year was the renewal of the Association’s Public Liability Insurance, ensuring the charity’s ongoing compliance and coverage.
Conclusion
Although the Association’s activities were paused due to circumstances beyond our control, the Trustees remain committed to resuming operations as restrictions lift and to continuing to promote urban beekeeping in the community.
