Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 During the reporting period, the charity
underwent a period of transition following
changes to the Board of Trustees and the
appointment of a new trustees.
The trustees therefore took the decision to
relaunch the Festival through a series of
events in March 2025, followed by the main
Maldon Festival in June and July 2025. The
Festival successfully returned with a
programme of more than 30 arts, music
and cultural events, attracting residents
and visitors from across the region.
The relaunch represented an important
milestone for the charity, re-establishing
the Festival's presence within the
community, supporting local artists and
performers, and strengthening partnerships
with venues, volunteers and community
organisations.
