Blandford Historic Buildings Trust
(Registered Charity number 1172564)
Annual Report for the year 2021
Activity in 2021 continued slow.
John Imber attended monthly Zoom meetings of Blandford Civic Society until the Society decided to become a sub-group within the membership of Blandford Museum.
In April, Peter Brachi retired as a Trustee on rotation and was reappointed at a meeting of the two remaining Trustees. In the same month all three Trustees attended a Zoom meeting of the Dorset Group of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and helped make plans for Group visits and working parties later in the year.
In October, the Trustees held a telephone meeting at which they agreed that the Trust should be wound up at the end of the year and the remaining funds should be donated to the Restore fund for the repair if the roof of Blandford Parish Church, as this was closely similar to the aims and objectives of the Historic Buildings Trust.
