MIEM was setup to reduce health inequalities within the black & minority ethnic (BAME) communities by improving the provision of accessible information.We do this mainly through TV and digital campaigns, which include; raising awareness of services, health advocacy, cultural changes/habits and trending topics.We also promote BAME health inequalities to government bodies & the NHS.

Objects: To Relieve Sickness And Promote Good Health, In Particular But Not Exclusively Amongst Black And Minority Ethnic (bme) Communities Within The UK, By Any Lawful Means That The Trustees May From Time To Time Decide Including The Following:(1) Working To Reduce Health Inequalities Within The UK Bme Community(2) Promoting Activities That Can Lead To Behavioural Change And Adoption Of Healthier Lifestyles In Both The Bme And The General Populationnothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of Miem For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008]
