Section D Achievements and performance

|**Summary of the main**
**achievements of the charity**
**during the year**|Our Sponsor A Child (SAC) program has been our longest-running
initiative, having started in 2018 with just three children. One of the
children we sponsor joined the SAC program while in primary school and
is now in his final year of secondary school. We are incredibly proud of
his achievements and have enjoyed watching him grow, pursue his
hobbies, and build a social life.
This year, we expanded our "one-to-one sponsorship scheme" to support
63 children across five cities: Jakarta, Lombok, Petobo, Aceh, and
Bukittinggi. Through this program, we provide various forms of
assistance, including educational scholarships, health check-ups, healthy
food packages, and school supplies.
The Qurbani program has always been highly popular within the
Indonesian community in the UK. Over the past four years, we have
focused on supporting and distributing Qurbani meat to isolated, remote
islands and underdeveloped regions in eastern Indonesia. This year, we
were able to distribute Qurbani meat to 480 families across five different
regions.
This year, our Emergency Relief Response (ERR) focused on the
aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey, which caused significant
devastation and ongoing recovery efforts. Coinciding with the approach
of Ramadan, we took the initiative to support the earthquake survivors by
distributing iftar meals to 460 people in areas such as Cumhuriyet
Mahallesi and Adıyaman Merkez.
Our treasurer participated in the Safeguarding Children and Young
People (CYP) and Families Forum, as well as completing the 12-hour
Paediatric First Aid qualification this year. These experiences will be
valuable assets to the charity.|
