The advancement of education for the public benefit by providing free secondary education to children in East Africa by working with existing secondary schools to offer scholarships to disadvantaged and vulnerable Summary of the objects of the children. charity set out in its governing document

During the 2020 financial year, Kamwenge Scholarship Fund sponsored the secondary education of 19 children (21 children in the prior year) at Equatorial College School, Ibanda.

Underprivileged children benefit from a free education and board which allows them to study when otherwise they would not be able to.

Funds are disbursed via an impact investment firm, Traction Capital, which has offices in Sweden and Uganda.

Principal sources of funds include fundraising and monetary gifts from members of the public.

100% of income is expended directly on the school fees for the school children. There are no overheads and trustees to not claim expenses.

KSF does not hold any investments nor does it intend to do so.
