Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

The advancement of education for the public benefit by providing free secondary education to children in East Africa by working with existing secondary schools to offer scholarships to disadvantaged and vulnerable children.

During the 2020 financial year, Kamwenge Scholarship Fund sponsored the secondary education of 21 children (21 children in the prior year) at Equatorial College School, Ibanda.

Underprivileged children benefit from a free education and board which allows them to study when otherwise they would not be able to. Funds are disbursed via an impact investment firm, Traction Capital, which has offices in Sweden and Uganda.
