The aim is to build a reserve of funds through investment over the next financial year so that the charity is self-sustaining financially in the longer term. Profits from investments can then be used for the objects of the charitable whilst sustaining a capital reserve. In the financial year 2020-2021, a grant was made to Child Rescue Kenya (Registered Charity Number 1160273). The charity works with the poorest and most vulnerable children in the Kitale area in Kenya. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. **Independent** I have completed my examination.
