Section D Achievements and performance The Cornwall AONB Trust was first registered with the Charity **Summary of the main** Commission in April 2017. **achievements of the charity during the year** Trustees meet monthly to six weeks to review the work of the Trust and to ensure it remains focussed in its aims and objectives. The Trust will continue to support a variety of community activities for the benefit of the public as it relaunches its various schemes and applies for additional funding. The Trust is committed to supporting a wide range of initiatives through the Environment Landscape Fund by offering grants of up to £500 which help facilitate projects which fall within the AONB Management Plan, 2022 - 2027.

||The Trusts business supporters scheme and ELF grants were largely
dormant during this fiscal year due to the ongoing effects of the Covid 19
lockdown. However, activity was undertaken with a view to restoring the
usual activities. This was through continuing work and participation in
projects with the CNL team and updating the website.
The net surplus recorded for this financial period was directly applied to
these projects.
Applications for grant funding to support a range of projects in line with
the purposes of the Trust were paused as ongoing work on the business
plan and governance of the Trust continued.|

||The principal funding source for this period was a donation from St Aubyn
Estates and two small payments from a new scheme to raise funds with
Amazon.
The Trust intends to increase project funding in accordance with the
Cornwall AONB Management Plan 2022 – 2027 in the upcoming year.
Likewise, the Trust’s objectives are to increase fundraising through
donations and registering for Gift Aid with HMRC.|
