Covid-19 impacted our activities in 2020 as it did for so many other organisations. We were only able to hold one of our lecture meetings in London before restrictions occurred, but we rearranged the rest of the planned meetings as 'zoom' calls which worked very well. Sadly we were unable to hold our annual conference. During the year we invested further in our capability to educate regarding all aspects of the American Civil War by designing and launching a new website with enhanced access for members and others to information and analysis.

Note 1 The exceptional item relates to the one off cost of designing and building the new ACWRT website. This cost £1500 which is partially offset by the release of the release of £440 Advertising and Publicity sub fund brought forward. The sub fund was the remainder of a legacy left to the ACWRT in 2012.

Note 2 There was no conference in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions.
