**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE ACWRT (UK) ARE TWO-FOLD:(A)THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION REGARDING THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR, AND OTHER MILITARY HISTORY RELATED TOPICS; (B)THE PRESERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE HERITAGE OF THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR,INCLUDING SITES OR ARTEFACTS RELEVANT TO THE CONFLICT, ITS ORIGINS, OR CONSEQUENCES.

**Activities:** The ACWRT (UK) organises events  relating to the study of the American Civil War, publishes a magazine about the War 3 times per year, as well as a regular e-bulletin, and maintains a website with useful information and sources about the War.  ACWRT (UK) also contributes towards the preservation of sites or artefacts associated with the War, mostly in the USA.
