The objects of The Attachinent Research Cojnmunity (ARC) are to advance in life and relieve the charitable
needs of children and young people with umnet attachment needs including (but without liinitation) by.,
l. proinoting siipporl to such children and young people in schools and other educational settings, including by
proinoting such support to families and carers:

practice, providing a sti'ong meeting point for Inembers. This event continues to sell out and is enhllnced by a
range of business partners who exhibit and share their offer. The event is CPD ceitified aiid includes
presentations froin Mai'ie Gentles OBE, Daniel Wilshier, Toin Shaw, Maureen Mull)olland, Dainian Matthews,
Dr Adele Thacker, Dr Anne-marie McBlain, Dr Dan Belcher, Di. Asha Patel, Neil Moggan. Rogcr Mitchell,
Calvin Kipling MBE, Richard Gill CBE and leaders froin past ARC Tiinpson Awai'd winners. In previous years

Iloiindtable Foi'uin and I'esearch symposiiims. These have crealed a wealth of opportunities for system leader5 to
learn of the benefits, approaches and processes required to develop ielalional based, nurtui'ing and in¢liisive
settings which are trauina inforined and attachment aware, The introduction of volunteer ARC Ambassadors has
enabled the charity to further extend its activities.

enables the leadership to reflect on their current praclice, create developinenl plans, identify trainiiig needs and
impleinent action projLcls for their setting. The ARC Matrix fiiither helps individuals, schoolslsettings and
leai'ning cominuiiities (MAT'slVirtual SchoolslGeographical) to docwnenl their woi'k and pi'ogress.
This fraiiiework is ¢oi)tinually reviewed and refined via the ARC Bducational Psycliology national foi'um
alongside ARC Trtjstees. This ensuies that it is infonned by, and is aligned to, Ihe Scliools Ofsted Inspection
Framework, the ILACS frainewoi'k and the National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) Fi'ainewoi'k. This
allows each setting ti integrate with other SEF processes and d¢velopinent plans providiIig a more extensive and
compleincntary approach.
An extensive monthly newsletter goes out lo all meinbers and the wider community helping to infoi'in, update
and enthuse &ll ai'ound local, regional and national developments and appi'oaches. This newsletter has I'egulai.
