With the ending of most Covid-19 restrictions in early 2022 we planned to re-open the Tower to the public as usual from Easter to the end of October. However, due to seagulls nesting on the gun deck at the top of the Tower, this was not possible. The season was reduced to August 2022 to October 2022. 2. Our volunteers continued regular maintenance checks of the tower, reporting same to English Heritage. 3. Many concerns about the physical condition of the Tower have been reported to English Heritage. We await their proposals for making good these defects. 4. We have also made proposals to English Heritage regarding antiseagull nesting measures, so that for 2023 we are able to open the Tower for the full season. **TAR** March **2012** 4 Section E Financial review At present.
