|Section D||Achievements & Performance<br>The main achievement has been the continued organisation of events which<br>successfully bring the school community together and forge stronger relationships<br>and friendships:<br>●<br>We raised £334 for Macmillan Cancer Support with the support of our<br>generous baking parents and children.<br>●<br>Our Annual General Meeting was held in October 2023 and new Officers<br>elected.<br>●<br>In December 2023 we ran the Christmas Market and raised £415 for the<br>FJKS charity.<br>●<br>In January 2024, Burns Night was a huge success and a sold-out event.<br>£1702 which was donated to the Dean’s Fund at King’s in September 2024.<br>●<br>The Charity Ball in May 2024 raised £3554 each for Demelza & Zarach with<br>£715 being ring-fenced for future FJKS expenditure on worthwhile projects.<br>●<br>In March 2023 we gifted Easter treats to every pupil in the School.<br>●<br>The second-hand uniform shop raised £2616.84 once again showing what a<br>valuable service this is for JKS parents.<br>FJKS has continued to support Classlist, a secure online address book,<br>messaging and event tracking system, which was launched in June 2017. About<br>98% of parents are registered on Classlist which makes the communication<br>between parents and between FJKS and parents of events/meeting/birthday<br>parties much easier and more efficient. On 31st August 2024 we had £2316.70 in<br>petty cash which was deemed a little too high so money has since been paid<br>to the HSBC account so that the petty cash as of 3rd October 2024 is now<br>£965<br>The year-end balance to 31 August 2024 including £2316.70 petty cash was<br>£34,947 . An additional £1572 credit has finally been received for ticket sales<br>at the May Charity Ball.|
