The main achievement has been the continued organisation of events which
successfully bring the school community together and forge stronger relationships
and friendships:

We raised £334 for Macmillan Cancer Support with the support of our
generous baking parents and children.
●
Our Annual General Meeting was held in October 2023 and new Officers
elected.
●
In December 2023 we ran the Christmas Market and raised £415 for the
FJKS charity.
●
In January 2024, Burns Night was a huge success and a sold-out event.
£1702 which was donated to the Dean’s Fund at King’s in September 2024.
●
The Charity Ball in May 2024 raised £3554 each for Demelza & Zarach with
£715 being ring-fenced for future FJKS expenditure on worthwhile projects.
●
In March 2023 we gifted Easter treats to every pupil in the School.
●
The second-hand uniform shop raised £2616.84 once again showing what a
valuable service this is for JKS parents.
FJKS has continued to support Classlist, a secure online address book,
messaging and event tracking system, which was launched in June 2017. About
98% of parents are registered on Classlist which makes the communication
between parents and between FJKS and parents of events/meeting/birthday
parties much easier and more efficient. Class reps also provide an invaluable
means of messaging to WhatsApp groups about FJKS activities.

depending on the nature of events held and the amount of sales through the

the sale of second-hand uniforms. On 31st August 2024 we had £2316.70 in
petty cash which was deemed a little too high so money has since been paid

The year-end balance to 31 August 2024 including £2316.70 petty cash was
£34,947 . An additional £1572 credit has finally been received for ticket sales
