**Objects:** The objects of the charity ('the objects') are the relief of poverty and financial hardship by way of monetary grants, loans or funding programmes for such racehorse trainers and ex-racehorse trainers who are or were licensed by the British Horseracing Authority and their widows, widowers and dependents.

**Activities:** Provision of financial support to racehorse trainers and ex-racehorse trainers who have fallen on hard times due to circumstances beyond their control and are in need of financial support. May also provide funding for schemes to help relieve beneficiaries from various welfare problems which they would not otherwise be able to fund themselves.
