Report for the year ended 31 March 2025 Aims, Objectives and Activltles The Charity works for the public benefit having as its objectives the development and education of children and young people in particular by.. Promoting their care and safety: Promoting their education and promoting parental participation., Promoting their health and wellbeing., Providing services to support them and their families and carers,. and Providing services to individuals holding membership of the CIO. Reserves Pollcy The Charity Trustees have established a reserves policy whereby the unrestricted funds not committed or invested in tangible fixed assets held by the Charity should be equal to a minimum of 6 months forecast expenditure. The reserves are needed to meet the working capital requirements of the Charity. By the balance sheet date there were not any funds designated for specific purposes see Financial Review above. Respectlve Responslbilities of the Trustees and Examlner The Charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity's Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 4312) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act), (as amended by s.28 of the Charities Act 2006) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act, as amended); follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners (under section 43(71{b) of the Act, as amended), and stste whether any particular matters have come to my attention. 8asl8 of Independent Examlner's Statement My examination was carried out In accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
