new major donors to the organisation butthi5 does remain 3n on8oin8 challenge for us due to our locatlon and proxlmlty
to people and bu5inE55eswho can support ourwork at siÈnificant levels. Therefore, we remain hu8ely8rateful to Barkin

dedication toyoung people has been a source of hope and optSmism for us all.
Belng part of 3 network means that Consideration should always be Blven tD how we support other Yourh Zones. In
Septernber 2023, Gavin Evans, our lon8Standlng CEO, took on rhe challenge of becomin8 the first CEO in the network to
permanently lead two operational Youth Zones when he took on the role of CEO of LE8aCV YDUth Zone In Croydon. This
thange has had rnany p051twe bEDefits inclucling sharing best prattl￿, encouraglng communication between peer5 and
¢ombinlng resourcès. As a res￿￿ of this chan8e. we decided to add a Chief Operating Officer role tu our strurture to
ensure we continued to maintain our progre55 and it was plea51ll8 to see that GÈrshom Clarke, who has been a valued
employee of the Youth Zone sSnce before we opened, suctessfully step up into that role. We will continue to review the
benefits of having a shared CEO with our friend5 at Lesacy Youth Zone and we remaln thankful to Gavin for hls
commitmentto Futureyouth Zoneand the l￿der nerwork.
We are atthe stage In our development where we have had the opportunty to thank Some of our IDlleèguesfor 5 years
of service 35 employees of the Youth Zone. A 8reat deal has happened over the last 5 years so we are 8rateful to those
stèff for their ongolngservice despire thè challenges thatthe whole af society ha5 needed to contend with. I ￿lie¥ethat
the nurnber of colleagues rernainillg with the organisation for the IDn8 term indicates that Future Youth Zone is 3 Breat
place to work. Keeplng stafE ar the forefront of our rhlnklng Is a crucial component to being able to prO￿￿e high quility
