**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WHO ARE VICTIMS OF, OR IN FEAR OF, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND/OR ABUSE IN ESSEX AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING REFUGE, COUNSELLING AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE ISSUES; AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.

**Activities:** The Charity provides support for women, men and children who have suffered, and are suffering, or are in danger of suffering violence, abuse or neglect by perpetrators known to them by providing refuge and outreach services in the community. The charity also raises awareness on domestic violence with the public
