the Trust has provided cheap bunkhouse

of Coetmor Mill.
The Mill situated in Central Snowdonia can
accommodate up to 30 people. It has been
marketed to Scout Groups, Youth Groups
and University Mountaineering Clubs.|

## **Achievements and Performance**

whole.|Para 1.20|Over the past year we have continued to
maintain the existing facilities and carry out
further enhancements within the Mill.
Progress has been hampered by Covid 19
and for significant periods the Mill was
closed to users. Lost revenue from users
has been offset from government grants
received in the year and the Mill has also
benefitted from a reduction in rent from the
Laspin Trust for the lease on the Mill.
A small group of individuals have continued
to devote considerable time and effort to
ensure the successful running of the Mill
this year.
There is still significant demand for
Coetmor Mill from youth groups and
bookings for the remainder of 2021
although down on pre-Covid levels were
healthy. This has enabled further
improvements to be made in the 2021/2022
financial period. The car park has been
revamped, new mattresses have been
purchased for the bunk beds and the rear
door which was in a bad state of repair has
been replaced.
Further enhancements will be planned
when bookings return to pre-Covid levels.|

maintenance and running costs of the Mill
are fully funded by the booking fees,
assisted through the Covid period by
government grants and a reduction in rent
from the Laspin Trust. On this basis the
Trustees are satisfied that the Mill is
financially stable.
The current year and future planned
improvements to the facilities have been
and will continue to be funded out of the
generous donations made to the Trust over
the current and proceeding periods.|
